Colleen’s many years’ background in the Venture Capital/Angel Capital industry
and in completing acquisitions/divestitures has given her the skills and experience
to source deals, prepare materials, negotiate term sheets, conduct due diligence
programs and close a transaction.
Through prior roles, she has screened countless Business Plans and Confidential
Information Memorandums; as well as sourced deals from all industries and in all
stages of growth. Further, for many years she was a judge for the University of
Alberta and for the province-wide Venture Prize business plan competitions. She
knows what it takes to create a ‘financeable plan’ as well as how to critically
evaluate or prepare companies for investment or acquisition.
Colleen is a wife and mother of 2, as well as owning and operating 2 businesses
and a working farm!
